Recently created company MyGallons has created a innovative solution to fend off those ever increasing gas prices. MyGallons allows members to purchase gas at their current local price, and place it on their MyGallons card. Members can then redeem the gas purchase at anytime for the locked in price. For example you buy gas at $3.52 a gallon, it rises to $4, you pay only $3.52. The MyGallons card works like a debit card, and is secured by a 4-digit pin number. Currently the company offers it its services in the U.S but hopefully they will expand soon. Members pay a annual membership of $30. This sure beats my idea of stocking barrels of gas in the garage.
